Remove windows 10 recovery partitions. Recovery partition: how to remove it painlessly for Windows systems

Surely any user of Windows operating systems knows that in the event of unforeseen critical failures, their performance can be restored. This is the responsibility of the Windows recovery partition, which stores the files necessary to perform such a procedure. However, they take up a lot of hard disk space (sometimes up to 15 GB, as in Windows 8). This is especially felt on hard drives with small volumes. And many, quite rightly, begin to ask themselves the question of freeing up space, which is occupied by the notorious section of recovery.

How to remove it and whether it can be done at all, we will consider further. But I want to immediately warn all users that when performing this procedure, you will have to, as they say, sweat, and such actions should be performed only at your own peril and risk.

What is a recovery partition and is it needed?

The partition itself, as it is already clear, is a reserved space on the hard disk, moreover, in the system partition where the installed OS is located.

As a rule, depending on the modification of the system, its size can vary, but usually it is about 300-500 MB. The Recovery folder will be placed here, in which there is a WindowsRE directory with the Winre.wim image attached to it. It also seems completely logical that all this is hidden from the user's eyes, so that he does not accidentally (or intentionally) delete the necessary recovery tools.

But this is not the only thing. There are two more hidden partitions on the disk, the existence of which the user does not even know. This is an EFI system partition with a volume of about 100 MB and a 128 MB MSR partition responsible for GPT partitioning. Thus, for example, the question of how to delete the recovery partition in Windows 10 boils down to removing not one, but three whole partitions from the system disk in order to attach them to the available space.

I must say that not all users realize that system recovery tools can be found both on installation media and on special disks for rolling back and fixing system errors. Therefore, in some cases, you can not only hide the recovery partition, but also delete it, as they say, without a twinge of conscience. For this, several methods can be proposed.

Reinstallation Will the recovery partition be removed?

To begin with, a few words about re-installation. Some users naively believe that reinstalling Windows 10 or any other modification with full formatting of the system disk will destroy the above partitions.

Nothing like this! Yes, at the stage of choosing a disk for installing the OS, absolutely all partitions will be displayed, and formatting will really combine them into one. But after all, in a "clean" system, which the user receives immediately after installation, automatic system recovery is activated by default, so the OS itself, whether you like it or not, again reserves space on the hard drive, where it writes the necessary information immediately.

Recovery partition: how to delete via command line?

So, let's start with the most difficult, but absolutely effective method, which involves the use of the command console (cmd), which must be run with administrator rights.

But before that, you need to follow a few simple steps. First, you need to create a recovery disc. If you are using the Restore menu in the Control Panel, you will need a flash drive, if you are using the backup and restore partition, you will be using optical media. A flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB and above is convenient in that you can execute full data on it from the recovery partition itself (but more on that later).

Next, the solution to the problem of how to remove the recovery partition from the hard drive is to select the line of special boot options (for Windows 10) in the update and security menu, which is in the options section, or install removable media as the first boot device in the BIOS.

After the restart, at the beginning of the installation of the operating system, the command line is called by the combination Shift + F10, in which the following commands are sequentially written:

  • diskpart;
  • lis dis (list of all partitions);
  • sel dis 0 (select a drive with an installed OS);
  • lis par (view sections);
  • sel par 1 (selection of the first section);
  • del par override (delete the first section);
  • sel par 2 (selection of the second section);
  • del par override (delete the second section);
  • sel par 3 (selection of the third section);
  • del par override (deletes the third section);
  • create par efi size = 100 (create an EFI encrypted partition with a size of 100 MB);
  • create par msr size = 128 (create an MSR partition with a size of 128 MB);
  • lis vol (view sections);
  • exit (exit from diskpart);
  • bcdboot C: \ Windows (install boot partition);
  • exit (full exit from the console).

Disk management with AOMEI

The reboot field should, for ease of further operations, use the AOMEI application, select the disk to which you want to attach the place, and then use the resize / move line in the menu on the left side.

Next, move the section is selected, and the slider is dragged to the limit (to completely allocate all the space under the C drive. Be sure to note that after such actions, there are zeros on the line "Unallocated space before").

Click "OK" and "Apply". In the window of pending operations that appears, the transition button is pressed, after which you need to agree with the instructions in the message. After that, a black window of the mode of freeing up space will appear. When the process is complete, the recovery partition will be deleted and the freed space will be attached to the system partition.

Methodology for Windows 8 and higher

Now let's talk about how to delete the recovery partition in versions of Windows 8 and higher (in the seventh modification and below, this solution does not work).

Remember when we were talking about creating a bootable USB flash drive at the first stage? So, if you check the box next to the backup line, the entire section, user files and programs can be transferred to this medium. True, this may even take several hours and a flash drive larger than 64 GB in volume.

But at the end of the process, the system itself will offer to delete the desired recovery partition. We agree and immediately see how much space has been freed up.

Conclusion

It remains to say that it is advisable to delete the desired partition only if the recovery in any situation is planned to be done exclusively from removable media, which must be created in advance. If for some reason it is not at hand, it will be absolutely impossible to roll back the system even to the factory state without reinstalling.

Almost all computers that come with an operating system Windows 8 have a dedicated system recovery partition consisting of important files needed for a reset or Windows 8 recovery to factory condition. recovery partition typically consumes about 15 GB of disk space. Since most computers that are available today can offer at least 500 GB of disk space, users may not feel the need to free up more disk space. But from users who have purchased a computer with a 64 or 128 GB SSD (Solid State Drive), they may want to free up some space by deleting this system recovery partition.

Moment restore partitions consists of recovering images and other important files before deleting the recovery partition, you must first go to recovery partition USB flash drive .After moving recovery partition delete partition recovery... You can then use a new USB recovery drive to restore Windows 8 to factory settings.

Follow the step by step instructions below to move recovery partition to a USB stick and then remove recovery partition in Windows 8.

NOTE: This procedure only works on Windows 8 and doesn't work on Windows 7.

Step 1: Connect a USB drive that has at least 16 GB of disk space (you may need more USB space if recovery partition over 16 GB) and back up all data to a safe location. This USB stick will be erased.

Step 2: Switch to Start screen, type Create recovery disc change search filter Options(see picture), and then press Enter to launch the Restore Disk Wizard. If you see UAC, just click the "Yes" button.

Step 3: After starting the Restore Disk Wizard, check the parameter Copy the PC recovery partition to the recovery drive, and then click Next.

Step 4: Select your USB drive and click Next.

Step 5: You will see the message “Everything on the disk will be deleted. If you have personal files on disk, make sure you back up your files. ” Since you have already transferred all the data from USB, press the button Create to start transfer recovery partition to the selected USB drive. Depending on the size Windows recovery partition, this process can take several minutes (or hours to complete).

Step 6: When Windows 8 will complete copying recovery partition to the USB stick, you will see the message “You can also delete recovery partition on your PC to free up some disk space ”, and a parameter named Delete recovery partition.

Step 7: Click the button Delete recovery partition to see an error message that says “You can free up some disk space by deleting the system recovery partition, but you won't be able to update or restore your computer again without a recovery disc. ”Since you have already migrated recovery partition to a USB stick, you can safely delete disk recovery partition.

Click the button Delete and recovery partition will be deleted. After the deed is done Windows 8 will show you how much disk space you got by deleting the recovery partition... Good luck!

Today we will talk about deleting non-system partitions. I will say that deleting an entire section is most often associated with the participation of the user himself. Of course, a partition can be damaged by virus programs or a normal hard disk crash, but, as I said, the user is a frequent cause of such troubles. Moreover, he could experiment with any software with which he was not ready to work and did a bunch of bad things.

The most interesting thing is that it is not so easy to delete a partition from a Windows system, because it is protected from self-destruction. To delete a partition, system or non-system, you have to try terribly. The user may have known what he was doing, but due to carelessness he deleted the wrong section. What if it had important data on it? That's right, continue to be more careful.

Today we will deal with fixing such problems. How to recover deleted partitions? Quite simply, we'll use a free software called.

Like any other similar program, AOMEI Partition Assistant also has a paid version, which provides additional features, fortunately, the free version will be enough for us to restore partitions. You can download it from the official website.

When can recovery help and when not?

Before you get started, you need to clarify a couple of points that are very important. Yes, we will restore deleted partitions, moreover, all the data that was on them will remain intact, they will have the same volume and the same place in the partition table. If you have accidentally formatted the partition, then using AOMEI Partition Assistant, you will not be able to recover the lost data. Fortunately, to do it, you can use good utilities, such as R-studio, Disk Drill and many others.

If, when deleting a partition, the disk space was redistributed, and new partitions were created in place of the partitions that were deleted, then it is also a moot point. Recovery can be carried out using the same programs that I indicated just above.

It so happens that the section is not actually deleted, but a letter is simply not assigned to it, the letter of the section can fly off due to a failure in the system or thanks, again, to the user. To understand whether the section is really not deleted, but simply does not have a letter, you need to go to the disk management utility. To do this, we press the keys Win + R and in the "Run" window that opens, enter the command:

diskmgmt.msc

A section that does not have a letter will be OK, but will be shaded. You need to right-click on it and select the item "Change drive letter or drive path".

If the section is deleted, then it will be written "Not allocated", and the top strip will not be blue, but black.

Now, if you understand that your partition has been deleted, let's start restoring it.

How do I recover a deleted partition?

As soon as we downloaded and installed the AOMEI Partition Assistant program, launch it and get to work. In the program window, the deleted partition will be defined as "Unoccupied" space.

Click on the item in the top menu "Master" and select the item "Partition Recovery Wizard"... The same is in the left panel of the program.

At this stage, you need to select the desired hard disk, if several are installed, then we must click on the unallocated space and click "Further".

Here we must first choose "Quick search", if in the process it will not find the deleted partitions, then use "Full search".

As soon as the deleted section is found, put a tick in front of it and click on the button "Go".

The end of the process will look like this:

Now the deleted partition has been recovered, and the data that has not been damaged on it has been recovered.

If during the search several deleted partitions were found, then you just need to select all the items with a checkmark.

How do I recover the system partition?

This option is complicated by the fact that when restoring system partitions, for example, a partition with an operating system, we will use bootable media. To create such a media, you will have to have a working system, so we will install the AOMEI Partition Assistant program on it and use it to create a bootable Live disk.

In the left panel of the program, we have to click "Make a bootable CD master" and in the window that opens, select the item "Create a simple Windows PE"... The second option also takes place, but there is a lot of fiddling with additional software. So, we chose the first item and clicked "Further".

Now we need to select the type of bootable media: optical disk, flash drive or image. I will choose 3 option, you can either.

Now we insert the disk or flash drive into the computer with the remote system partition and boot from it. In the screenshot below, we can see the merging of two partitions: the C: drive and the boot sector. To restore the partition, we follow the same method when we restored a non-system partition.

Launch Partition Recovery Wizard and select unallocated space. Click on next.

First we choose "Quick search", and if he did not give results, then "Full search".

Mark the found sections with checkmarks and click "Go".

That's all, now you can restart your computer and boot from your hard drive, Windows should boot as usual.

By default, Windows Explorer displays only those partitions to which the user can write and work with their files. This is the system and all third-party sections, of which there can be a great many. Sometimes, for some unknown reason, the mysterious RECOVERY disk ( recovery disk), which shouldn't be displayed in principle. This guide will tell you what to do with this disc if it suddenly appears on your computer.

What kind of disk RECOVERY

Most often, it is displayed on laptops and assembled computers and its size can be up to several tens of gigabytes. By default, it shouldn't be displayed - you shouldn't store information on it. Manufacturers use a recovery disc to store the utilities needed to restore the computer in the event of a problem.

Unfortunately, scientists cannot explain why the recovery disc appears. It should always be hidden, but for some reason it suddenly falls on the user. Many have reported that the Recovery drive appeared unexpectedly after updating to the Windows 10 April 2018 Update. For many users, displaying an extra disk in Explorer will not be a big problem, but the bottom line is that in the vast majority of cases, this disk is actually displayed as 100% full, and therefore you will see a red scale and the system will constantly send notifications about disk full ... This is already beginning to annoy even the most patient users.

Whatever the reason for the appearance, the Recovery disk can be hidden by the built-in system tools, and this procedure will take you no more than 10 minutes. The instructions are relevant for both Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.

How to hide Recovery drive in Windows 10 Explorer

Since this disc is used only for manufacturer's recovery tools, it can theoretically (and practically too) be completely removed. This will save you a few extra gigabytes per partition, but we do not recommend doing this. If you have experience in restoring your computer, most likely you will not need this instruction, since you yourself know what to do with this disc. We recommend it to other users. hide so that if a problem occurs, you can quickly return your computer to a working state using specially provided tools.

Let's look at two methods for hiding a disk and start with the simplest.

For your information: This instruction will only work if the RECOVERY drive (be it an OEM partition or a Windows system recovery drive) suddenly starts showing up in File Explorer with a separate letter and 100% full space. If this disk is not visible in the system, hide it unnecessarily. Also, you will not be able to access a menu with options for regular sections. While we don't recommend deleting it, there is still a way to free up the space it takes up. This is discussed in a separate part of this manual.

How to remove the recovery partition using the command line

Another option is to use the command line. A more complex method, since the procedures are performed using commands, but we recommend trying different methods as the above method may not be available in different scenarios.

How to remove the recovery section

Although we said a couple of paragraphs above that we do not recommend that you remove the Recovery disc, we understand that the user can do whatever he wants with his PC, so after a little thought, we decided to add a way to remove the Recovery OEM disc. If you are eager to free up the extra couple of gigabytes that the recovery image is occupying, you can forcefully clear it.

A warning: Keep in mind that clearing the RECOVERY disk will make it impossible for you to restore the system to factory state without unnecessary dancing with a tambourine. If something happens to your computer, you will have to manually reinstall the operating system, all drivers and diagnostic utilities from your computer manufacturer. Before removing the Recovery disc, we advise you to look at the PC manufacturer's website and see if they offer utilities for creating such partitions.

From the instructions above, you already understood that it is most convenient to work with disks from the system utility Disk management... The only catch is that Microsoft severely restricts user options regarding reserved partitions. Roughly speaking, this is a kind of "protection from the fool." Although when you try to open the context menu of the Recovery drive, you will only see the help button, it is quite easy to bypass the built-in protection. All this is done from the Command Line using the Diskpart utility.

  1. Run the command line as Administrator in the same way as described in the instructions above.
  2. Enter the command diskpart and press Enter.
  3. Next enter the command listdisk... A list appears on the command line screen physical disks. If you have only one disk in your system, split into several partitions, after entering the command listdisk will only be displayed one disk.
  4. Now you need to select the drive on which the recovery partition is located. Enter selectdiskX... Replace the X with the disc number. For example, disk 0.
  5. Now we need to display the list sections the selected drive. To do this, use the command listpartition.
  6. Find a disc Recovery the occupied space of which you want to delete. Enter select partition 6... Hit Enter.
  7. It's time to remove the disc. Enter deletepartition... After that, you will see an error message about deleting the secure disk. The command line will immediately inform you that to delete protected sections, you must specify the forced deletion parameter.
  8. Enter the command detailpartition... The screen will display detailed information about the section, namely the type, the values of the "hidden" and "required" attributes, an additional attribute, and an offset in bytes. OEM recovery partitions use type 27. You need to change it to type 07, which is a normal NTFS partition.
  9. Enter the command setid=07 , and then deletepartition... If that doesn't work, try typing deletepartitionoverride, after which the section will be deleted. The command line should report the successful completion of the procedure.

The space was freed up. You can now return to the utility Disk management and assign free space for any of your needs. You can expand an existing disk or create a new one.

How to create a recovery partition

Let's say you want to put the recovery disc back into the system. If your manufacturer provides the necessary tools for this, then you just need to download them and follow the instructions from the computer supplier. If not, you can try to create a recovery partition using the third-party OneKey Recovery application.

Advice: It is best to create a recovery partition on a clean operating system on which all drivers and necessary applications are installed. Although no one will stop you from backing up your system in any state, you need to understand that all the garbage that has accumulated on your system partition will be backed up to the recovery partition.

The procedure begins with creating the same recovery partition to which the application will write a backup copy and which will be hidden. Please note that there must be enough free space on the disk - at least the amount occupied by the system at the moment. If the system disk is 40 GB busy, you will need 40 GB to create the recovery partition.

After that, the additional boot option for AOMEI OneKey Recovery will appear on the system boot menu. Select it when it becomes necessary to restore the created system backup.

This is a very simple instruction, so you shouldn't have any complications. Tell us in the comments if you have encountered something similar, and if this article helped you if a RECOVERY disk suddenly appeared on the system.

Question: Can I delete the recovery partition?

Interested in this question:
Is it possible to remove the recovery partition and merge it with the primary drive without any damage?
I recently bought a laptop, an SSD disk. It's just that there is not much memory, it's a pity to spend 20 gigs just to restore Windows. Thank you in advance

Here is a screen of disk management

Answer: I would leave if you suddenly decide to sell your laptop. 20GB of the weather won't do it anyway. On my computer, only 450MB was cut off. And you get two partitions and both restore something there .. Maybe, in addition, what kind of archiving is included in the OS and it uses the second partition?

Question: Windows does not boot and system recovery from a USB flash drive, after removing the recovery partition

On the digma eve 8.2 3g tablet with windows 8.1, I deleted the recovery partition and combined it with the C drive, after that the tablet does not start, the blue screen writes an error
Recovery. Your computer needs to be restored. The required device is not connected error code 0xc0000225 You will need recovery tools on bootable media, etc. Press the Windows key to access the UEFI firmware options.

The bottom line is that I copied the recovery partition to the USB flash drive in advance. But that's not the problem. Found that when loading the tablet, you need to press the F7 key. I connected a USB flash drive and a keyboard through the hub, when I turn it on, I press the f7 key but there is no reaction, the f2 and del keys also do not bring results, although they should be allowed into bios.

From the above blue screen, I can f8 go to the menu in which there is debug mode, start safe mode, etc. When you click on any item, it throws it back to the blue screen. "The OS could not be loaded because the HAL layer is missing or contains errors" file \ windows \ system32 \ halmacpi.dll

If you press f10, something like a console appears with the name "changing the boot parameters of windows", the line already contains the line / noexecute = optin / novga
When you press enter, it again writes "The OS could not be loaded because the HAL layer is missing or contains errors" file \ windows \ system32 \ halmacpi.dll

Maybe I just do not have time to press f7 at boot because I first have to turn on the button connecting the f1-f12 keys? what can you do? when loading the tablet with the volume and power keys held down, two lines flash after the splash screen, but it is not possible to read them, they disappear too quickly.

Answer: Unlike laptops, where the factory recovery partition does not participate in the boot and operation of the system (it only participates in the rollback to the factory state), the tablets also boot the system from it (wimboot technology).
The fact that you see error 225 means that you have a live ESP partition (FAT32) and it starts loading properly, but there is nothing to load.
Exit, IMHO, to return everything back as it was.

Q: Recovery partitions

Good day! I decided to break the hard one into pieces. I went into disk management and now I saw that there are several system recovery partitions of 300, 352 and 450 MB. So this is the question - why are they needed (if there are links to the theory, I will be grateful) and most importantly, can I delete them and how it shines.

Answer: gecata. Yes, it's a laptop. But there is another related question - the laptop was originally purchased with Win 8. Gradually I updated it to 10 and now I want to reinstall it, having previously deleted all these recovery partitions, including this 20GB. Will I still have my license? Or does she bond in some other way?

Question: How to remove the recovery partition

Good evening.

The problem is this:
bought an SSD disk
through long torment, transferred the system from the HDD to it
transferred the recovery disk to the HDD.

Now the problem is that I want to expand the "C" drive at the expense of unallocated space on the SSD, but it prevents me from making a 450MB partition. how to remove or move it

Question: When the laptop boots up, the recovery partition does not start from the button (in my case, ALT + F10)

Notebook: Packard Bell
OC: Windows 8.1
GPT partitions.

Hello!

The trick is this: when the laptop boots up, the recovery partition does not start from the button (in my case ALT + F10).

Event history:
1) I bought a WD-shka for trerrabyte and decided to make a complete transfer from my native screw (320 GB sigate) to a new one.
To do this, I used the Ghost program (12.0) and made a disk-to-disk copy. All partitions were copied successfully (including service partitions), but Ghost made a proportional increase in each partition (the copied partitions became about three times larger). Naturally, I do not need service partitions that are three times inflated, especially the last hidden recovery partition with Windows, which became 45 GB. But the Windows stopped loading from the new screw.

2) I tried to copy disk to disk using Paragon 15.0, put some checkboxes and started. And a strange thing happened - the native screw stopped loading!
Maybe it's all about the checkboxes that my "straight" hands put .... I don't know. Restored the Windows boot with the help of a strange program "O Dism ++" in which the line "Restore Startup" appeared in the menu. The recovery was automatic. Windows booted up again, but at boot it now offers two Windows 8.1: the first one with volume 4 (and the system is on volume 4) and just 8.1. The first option works.

But here's a new trouble: at boot time, when you press ALT + F10, when loading the recovery partition, it gives an error 0xc000000e (it gave the same error when Windows was not loaded)

3) After spending time in Google and reviewing a bunch of vidos, I copied all the partitions from the native screw to the new one separately, including the recovery partition with the factory Windows. With a bootable flash, WinNtsetup installed Windows from a hidden partition (ALREADY ON A NEW SCREW) (using an image), indicating where the bootloader will be. Everything was fine and the licensed Windows starts up.
! BUT. ALT + F10 now doesn't work at all. Those. doesn't even respond to the button.

EXPERIENCES, ATTENTION, QUESTION: How to make the button work?)?

Answer: With the hidden MSR partition, everything is fine, it is alive, well, it has the correct identifier and should not be displayed in disk management. There is no urgent need for GPT, but without it converting to a dynamic disk will not work.

Question: The laptop does not find the recovery partition

Launched refresh. Now there is a preparation for setting up. She had been there for a long time and therefore I decided that the computer was frozen. I pressed the shutdown button. Included. Logged into Windows. In the middle - a bar with the message "no changes were made". Neither refresh nor reset works now, although they did. When I try to reset / refresh, it says that there are no necessary files. In Disk Management, the recovery partition is empty. but in the AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition 5.2 there is information there (approximately 8 GB). the recovery disk with the lenovo b 590 laptop did not go, I did not think of creating it myself. I don't know what to do now.

Added after 44 minutes
P.S. After I turned it on before entering Windows there was something like "disc c repair"

Added after 7 hours 29 minutes
lenovo tech support says that you need to take it to the service center, and there they will restore everything for a fee ...
on the Microsoft website when trying to ask a question - error 404,

"If during the warranty period the product does not function in accordance with the warranty, you can contact Lenovo representatives or an authorized service center that provides warranty service "

Are the reps sellers? Is there anything they can do even though the software is not covered by the warranty?

Added after 1 minute
(a service center is not an option, because in Vladivostok, and I am already in Ussuriysk.)

Answer:

Message from Anton Heim

the manuals helped.
The following sequence of actions helped:
1) charms> settings> change computer settings> general> special boot options> restart now
2) a blue screen appeared. And there I already pressed something like recovery. Did a reset.
3) now refresh / reset and restore button are working!
(I don't know how important it is that windows was in safe mode (I don't even remember how I started it))

Anton Heim, thank you very much! Signed up specifically to thank.

Question: Recovery section error An OS wasn "t found.

Hello.

Moved to Win10 from 8.1
In order for Windows to become licensed, you first need to update it and do not care that many people want to install it cleanly. In general, I updated it, got a license, and started a clean install. I felt that something was wrong and saved the recovery partition to another computer. I deleted all partitions completely and redistributed everything normally. And of course, after a clean installation, Windows refused to activate and blocked the key. The Small Soft Forum did not respond and I decided to restore to 8.1 and update again. But a new problem:

I definitely forgot to do something.
There was a recovery partition on a Lenovo laptop, the data from which I dropped to another location. Now the section is needed and I created a new section, dropped all the files there, assigned id = 27 and made the section active.
As a result, when loading: An OS wasn "t found.

I probably don't even ask a question there

Thanks.

If you cannot cope with the second option yourself, then write, we will deploy the factory image at least to MBR, at least to GPT. Screens will be needed from you, a lot.

Question: Deleted a section. How can I restore files to the same partition?

With the help of the recovery program, ZAR scanned, the files are visible, but at the moment I have nowhere to copy everything. There is another section and a flash drive, but everything will not fit there. There was a lot of free space on the remote partition. But the Zar program does not allow you to somehow shrink or transfer. I'm afraid to divide the lost section into two parts. As I'm afraid the section has been fragmented and one file may be scattered in chunks throughout the entire section. The question is, is there such a program that could manipulate files on an invisible partition, as well as on a regular one?

Answer: More accurate background: There were three sections with, d and e. In the standard "disk management" I deleted e instead of d (it was imperceptibly highlighted). As a result, my disk e began to show one and a half terabytes instead of 200 GB. After that, Akronis did not see anything at all. Therefore, I removed the disk q to clarify the situation. The dimensions of all disks have taken on real dimensions.
After Zar tried partition table doctor as it claimed to be the best partition recovery software. Indeed, immediately at startup, a message appeared about the inconsistency of some sectors. I made a backup of the table using the same program. I was glad that no virtual machines were needed either. But early. The fixboot button resulted in a message: "I can not restore". The rebuild button led to the fact that my disks s and d were rebuilt, but e remained untouched.
I tried the test disk, but the messages: "mismathes", "seems too small", "cant recover partition" made me realize that in two days that I fiddled with the screw, I could make money on the disk and restore the information, and as a result, neither nor the other.
